Venaria Reale

Halfway between the Lanzo Valley and the city of Turin, we find the town of Venaria Reale, with its almost 35,000 inhabitants.

In a huge and impressive space, shows the whole of  Venaria Reale: an environment that welcomes and surprises tourists, once a village the majestic palace of the Savoy family, declared by UNESCO "World Heritage of Humanity", with its extensive gardens reaching the Regional Park “La Mandria”. The approximately 8000 square meters of the former stables of the palace house since 2005, the Center for Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage "The Royal Venaria" third pole of national restoration, together with those of Rome and Florence.

Then Royal Palace, inaugurated in October 2007, after 8 years of restoration work, dates back to the second half of the seventeenth century, when king Carlo Emanuele II of Savoy, decided to build a new residence for the court: a place of pleasure and hunting.
